1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Digital Systems LLC ("Digital Systems," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with (a) the website at digitalsystems.dev (the "Site"), and (b) our mobile applications that are not published under their own separate privacy policy (the "Apps," and together with the Site, the "Services"). The Site is an informational marketing site — it does not require an account and does not include a contact form; the only way to reach us through the Site is by email. The Apps are distributed through app stores such as the Apple App Store and Google Play and may collect additional information as described in Section 7.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you provide directly. If you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address, name (if provided), and the contents of your message.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites and apps, our hosting, analytics, and advertising infrastructure may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser or device type, referring page, and pages or screens visited, for the purpose of operating and understanding use of the Services. For our Apps, this also includes a device identifier ("Device ID"), as described in Section 7.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries sent to [email protected];
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- Personalize your experience within our Apps;
- Understand aggregate traffic and usage patterns;
- Support advertising, including third‑party advertising, within our Apps; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing of information
We do not share personal information with third parties except: with service providers who help us operate the Services (such as hosting, analytics, or advertising providers) under obligations consistent with this Policy, including the advertising partners described in Section 7; if required by law, subpoena, or legal process; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users.
5. Cookies & analytics
The Services may use privacy‑respecting analytics tools and, if used, essential or analytics cookies (on the Site) to understand aggregate usage. Any analytics used are configured to avoid collecting sensitive personal information. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can control the Device ID used by our Apps as described in Section 7.
6. Our products
Digital Systems builds and operates other software products, including GearTrack.pro and NextGigs.net. Those products handle their own user data under their own separate privacy policies, and this Policy does not apply to them. Digital Systems also builds and operates mobile applications that do not have their own separate privacy policy — for those Apps, this Policy is the governing privacy policy, as described in Section 7.
7. Mobile apps & tracking
Some of our Apps are published without branding that identifies them back to Digital Systems and, unlike GearTrack.pro and NextGigs.net, do not have their own separate privacy policy. This Privacy Policy governs those Apps.
These Apps may collect a Device ID (such as your device's advertising identifier) for the following purposes:
- Analytics — understanding how the App is used;
- Product personalization — tailoring content and features to you; and
- Third‑party advertising — including tracking, meaning your Device ID may be shared with advertising partners and used to link your activity across apps and websites not owned by us, in order to serve and measure targeted advertising.
Where required, we present the applicable platform's tracking permission prompt (such as Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt) before engaging in tracking, and you can withdraw permission at any time in your device settings — for example, on iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; on Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads, to opt out of ads personalization or reset your advertising identifier.
8. Data retention
We retain email correspondence, Device IDs, and related information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, operate our Apps, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing, including opting out of tracking as described in Section 7.
